Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The booth burger is EXTREMELY juicy with the melted cheese to finish it off(I took out the onion, tomato, pickles), Zucchini Sticks are good & the portion size is Amazing!! French fries are like steak fries, crispy & good with perfect seasoning. Smoky pesto sandwich was good, chicken was tender & flavorful, pesto just added extra flavor. Music is on hit!! We will be back!!

Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Drinks: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Parking: 4/5 First time coming by this iconic bar in Old Sacramento. Came by on a Monday afternoon. Michael was the bartender, and he was really kind and personable. The space itself is a large basement style area with variety of seating and pool tables with an outdoor patio area. Order directly at the bar for your food and drinks. Overall? It was perfectly average.

You walk in and order at the bar. The bartender was really friendly and made us some great custom cocktails. Mine was so refreshing and my boyfriend's tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry πŸ˜‹ the bartender seemed so excited to experiment, it was so fun. And the food! Probably the best chili cheese fries I've ever had. The fries were so salty and crisp and the chili was delicious. I was so happy to see a meat free option that was that tasty. I don't live in sac but I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Recently, on a trip to Old Sacramento, we stopped at Honey and the Trapcat for lunch. The basement restaurant has a cool historic-type of vibe and is very casual, however, the seating and dining area could use some updating. The service was a bit slow that day but the food came with a big smile and humble apology for the wait. I had the BLTA with fries and it was delicious and worth the short wait. I didn't find out the inspiration for the name of the restaurant but would recommend the food if you're looking for a fresh bite.

Came here on a whim with a group of friends on Thursday night where there was plenty of open spots nearby to park at, parking meters cut off at 10pm so we didn't have to pay much at all to park. Was met with incredible patio atmosphere, friendly and energetic staff, great bartenders, tasty drinks, and surprisingly good barfood. Had a hard time choosing better which order of fries to share since they all sounded so good!
